The WLA 2013 Scholarship

The Wisconsin Laboratory Association is offering
TWO $1,000.00 scholarships for 2013
to one of the students who meet the following requirements:

1. Applicants must be one of the following at an accredited college or university:

A. Technical Student
B. Undergraduate Student
C. Graduate Student

2. All applicants must be enrolled in a curriculum that will enable them to pursue a career in a non-medical laboratory related field and have a 3.0 or higher Grade Point Average.

3. All applicants MUST submit the following three pieces of information to the Scholarship Committee to be considered:

A. A completed WLA application form. (download application here)
B. A current transcript from the school the student is presently attending.
C. Two letters of recommendation from the student's instructors.

The student does not have to be a member of WLA to be considered eligible. Recipients will be selected by the WLA Scholarship Committee, none of whom are affiliated with an educational institution or college. The WLA Scholarship Committee is not required to award a scholarship if no complete and appropriate applications are received before the application deadline.

The deadline for submitting COMPLETED applications and supporting documentation is August 1, 2013.

The scholarship will be awarded at the 2013 Fall Educational Conference.
